Midco Secures Naming Rights for New Dakota Star Gymnasium

October 11, 2016 – Mandan, ND: Midco announced today that it has reached an agreement with Dakota Star Gymnastics and the Mandan Parks District to sponsor the new Starion Sports Complex. The agreement includes a donation to Dakota Star Gymnastics in return for interior naming rights of the gymnasium, which will be known as the Midco Gymnasium.

The Starion Sports Complex is a new $22-million sports complex in Mandan, ND. The future complex is a state-of-the-art facility that will be the new home for the Mandan Dakota Star Gymnastics team. It will also include two sheets of ice for hockey and other sports, and associated locker rooms and training spaces. Construction on the facility began in spring 2016, and the building is expected to open by fall 2017.

“We’re excited to have this generous support from Midco as we look forward to the fantastic opportunity to grow Dakota Star’s programs at the new Starion Sports Complex,” says Amanda Lantz, Program Director at Dakota Star Gymnastics, a nonprofit organization providing quality gymnastics to Mandan and surrounding communities.

“Midco is dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve, and this partnership with Dakota Star Gymnastics helps encourage the young people in the area to stay active and healthy,” says Justin Forde, Director of Public Affairs for Midco.
