November 13, 2018 – Sioux Falls, SD: Midco Sports Network® is heading to the home of the Minnesota Vikings to broadcast two special men’s basketball games on Saturday, December 1 from U.S. Bank Stadium.

The first matchup between North Dakota State University and Drake University will begin at 5:30 pm. South Dakota State University will take on the University of Northern Iowa at 8 pm in the nightcap. The U.S. Bank Stadium Basketball Classic will be the first basketball event in the stadium’s history. U.S. Bank Stadium is set to host the 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four in April.

"We are pleased to secure these games for our Bison and Jackrabbit fans, and we look forward to showcasing their student-athletes from an outstanding venue," said Mark Powell, Midco's VP of Midco SN.

"We have had a long and excellent partnership with MidcoSN, and this broadcast is another example of that" said SDSU Athletic Director Justin Sell. "We're very excited to have our men's basketball team featured in a highly anticipated non-conference game inside a venue worthy of the Super Bowl and the Final Four. This is a great opportunity for us to elevate our brand not only as an athletic department, but also as a university."
