How long does it take?
A trained Midco professional will spend two and a half to four hours installing Midco SmartHOME and showing you how to use the system.
Are there Midco SmartHOME installation fees?
There’s a $99 installation fee, which will appear on your first month’s statement after installation.
Can I get Midco SmartHOME if I rent?
Yes. We can install home automation in rental properties. You must get written permission from your landlord before we can install equipment, because our technician may need to drill it into place.
Midco SmartHOME is not available in all areas. Some restrictions may apply. Certain packages or equipment may be limited by local ordinance. A 36-month signed contract is required before installation and services begin. Midco SmartHOME requires Midco Xstream® 75 or higher. Midco is not liable for damaged or stolen equipment. Midco is not responsible for false alarms. False alarm ordinances may apply. Contact your local municipality for more information. Some ordinances may restrict smoke alarm installation.
