No. Cameras are not actively monitored by our monitoring facility.
When you set up the right rules in your Midco SmartHOME app, you can receive a text alert, email or app notification that the camera has detected motion. That way you can see if cause of the motion was delivery of the package you were expecting, if your dog has torn up the couch cushions or that your kids arrived home.
- Low – A good option for wanting to detect larger movements in the home, this setting rarely picks up small pets and their movements.
- Medium – This setting detects a moderate amount of movements – and picks up more movements from small pets in the home.
- High – The highly sensitive option picks up most movements within the camera’s range.
No. Midco does not have access to any images or video recorded by your Midco SmartHOME cameras.
No. Cameras cannot be installed on the exterior of multi-family dwellings, such as an apartment building or a duplex.
At this time, you can only record video from one camera at a time.

4 Extended payment period (12 months) is available for Midco SmartHOME equipment for new customers. If customer cancels prior to the payment period ending, they will be responsible for any remaining balance upon disconnect and for returning any leased equipment.
