Forgot Password

We all have a lot of passwords to remember. If you forgot your password for My Account, check out the steps here to get things reset so you can log in again.1

If you’re looking to reset your Midco email password instead, click the link below. Important note: As of August 4, 2020, you now use your My Account login to access TV Everywhere – rather than a Midco email address.

Use your Midco account credentials to access My Account and TV Everywhere streaming apps (available with TV packages).1

If you have your mobile number saved to your profile: 

  1. Go to the My Account login screen or the My Account app.
  2. Use the log in by text option to receive a one-time passcode to log in. Then, you can change your password in your Settings.

If you don't have your mobile number saved:

  1. Go to the My Account login screen or the My Account app, and select Forgot Password?
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account. We’ll send you an email with a link to reset your password.
    • If you don’t see the email, check your junk or spam folders.
  3. Click the link and enter a new password for your account.
    • Your password must be between 8 and 32 characters long.
    • For security purposes, you must include at least one number, one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter. Special characters are allowed, but not required.
    • A strong password should appear to be a random string of characters, and should not include personal information or dates that are easily identifiable as unique to you.
  4. Select Change Password. An on-screen message will display when your password has been successfully changed.
  5. Log in to My Account or the My Account app with your new password.
 

If you know your My Account password but want to change it, you can update it in My Account.

  1. Log in to My Account or the My Account app.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Tap Password Reset. Then Reset Password.

A password reset link will be sent to the email address linked to your My Account profile.

  • Your password must be between 8 and 32 characters long.
  • For security purposes, you must include at least one number, one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter. Special characters are allowed but not required.
  • A strong password should appear to be a random string of characters and should not include personal information or dates that are easily identifiable as unique to you.
  • If you don't see the email in your inbox, check your junk or spam folders.

Remove Midco Emails from Your Junk/Spam Folder

If you have requested a password reset, but you did not receive a verification link or reset code, confirm you entered the correct email address or phone number. Then, check your junk or spam folders.

  • From the Spam folder, select the email in question (or multiple emails).
  • Click the 'Not Spam' icon.

The email(s) will move to your Inbox.

Account PIN

Your account PIN is used to verify your identity when you call in to make account changes or connect to our support team.

The account PIN is visible to all authorized users on the account but only the account owner can edit the account PIN. If you have not yet created an account PIN, you will be asked to create one the next time you call in or when you log into My Account.

  1. Log in to My Account or the My Account app.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Select the Manage Users tab.
  4. Tap Edit to update your 4-digit Account PIN, as well as change your name, locations or phone numbers.
    • Letters and special characters such as !, @ and ? are not allowed.
    • Only the account owner can create or modify the account PIN, either online or over the phone. Authorized users can view the PIN in their My Account but cannot make changes to the account PIN.
    • Account details such as service address and full account name cannot be changed online. Transfers and account ownership changes are handled by agents.
    • Your last name cannot be changed if a government assistance benefit is active on your account.
  5. Click Save to update any edits made within each category.
