Manage Keypad Codes

You can switch your home security system to an armed or unarmed status using special keypad codes that are set up and managed within Midco SmartHOME. A user with the master access code will see all access codes and be able to manage them. You can assign multiple keypad codes to track who enters and leaves your home.

  1. Log in to your Midco SmartHOME app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Settings and then Keypad Codes.
  3. Tap the pencil icon next to the code you’d like to view. Enter your keypad master 4-Digit Code.
  4. If you want to modify your keypad code, enter a new 4-Digit Code, and tap Save. Otherwise, tap Back in the upper right corner of the app.
  1. Log in to your Midco SmartHOME app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Settings, Keypad Codes and then Add +.
  3. Enter your keypad master 4-Digit Code.
  4. Enter a new keypad code Name, Level and 4-Digit Code.
  5. Tap the days of the week you’d like the code to be turned on.
  6. Tap Save.
  1. Log in to your Midco SmartHOME app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Settings and then Keypad Codes.
  3. Tap the pencil icon next to the code you’d like to delete. Enter your keypad master 4-Digit Code.
  4. Tap Delete and then Yes on the confirmation window.
  1. Log in to the Subscriber Portal.
  2. On the toolbar, select Security and then Keypad Codes.
  3. Click Show next to the code name you wish to view.
  4. If prompted, enter your keypad master four-digit code for account verification, and click OK.
  1. Log in to Midco.com/SmartHOMEportal.
  2. On the toolbar, select Security and then Keypad Codes.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the code name you wish to modify.
  4. If prompted, enter your keypad master four-digit code for account verification, and click OK.
  5. Edit the Name, Access Code and Valid Days as you wish.
    • For the Duress and Master codes, all days of the week are automatically set.
  6. Click Save.
  1. Log in to Midco.com/SmartHOMEportal.
  2. On the toolbar, select Security and then Keypad Codes.
  3. Click Add Access Code. If prompted, enter your keypad master four-digit code for account verification, and click OK.
  4. On the Add Access Code window, enter a Name, and a new four-digit access code.
  5. Select the Access Level for the new code. (All options may not be available, depending on the access codes you’ve already set up.)
  6. Select the days of the week that the code can be used.
    • For the Duress and Master codes, all days of the week are automatically set.
  7. Click Save.

  2. On the toolbar, select Security and then Keypad Codes.
  3. Click the trash icon next to the code name you wish to modify.
  4. If prompted, enter your keypad master four-digit code for account verification, and click OK.
  5. Click Yes on the confirmation window.
