How to Find Wireless Network Name and Password

Wireless Information in My Account

Depending on your wireless modem, you may be able to access your wireless network name and key within My Account. 

  1. Log in to my My Account.
  2. Under the Internet section, select Manage.
  3. Locate your modem. If a network key is available to display in My Account, your details will display here. 
Wireless Information Available Through Modem 

If your Wi-Fi password and network name are not listed in My Account, you may be able to access them through your modem. 

  • Check the back or bottom of your modem for your Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Password (may also be called Passphrase or Security Key).
  • Refer to your Midco Internet Quick Start Guide, if you wrote it down when your internet was installed.
  • Log in to your Midco wireless modem following the instructions below for the make and model of your modem.

Hitron CGN-RES, CGNM225, CGN3RES, or CGNMRES

  1. Using a device connected to your Midco wireless modem (either wired or wireless), open your web browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the URL. This will get you to the login page for your modem. 
  2. Enter the following login information.
    • Username: cusadmin
    • Password: password
  3. On the Status login page, scroll to view your wireless network name and password information. 

Cisco DPC3825 or DPC3828

  1. Using a device connected to your Midco wireless modem (either wired or wireless), open your web browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the URL. This will get you to the login page for your modem. 
  2. On the login page for your modem, leave the username and password fields blank and log in.
  3. On the Quick Setup page, scroll to view your wireless network name and password information. (Check the Show Key box to display your current Wi-Fi password.)
