eVOICE

Who: MN, ND and SD phone customers

eVOICE is an option you can add on to your voicemail, so you can retrieve your voicemail using your phone and email. This feature is currently available to Midco phone customers in MN, ND and SD. You can also manage your voicemail by using your home phone.

You’ll receive an email informing you of a message, and you can listen to the message as an audio attachment. From the email, you can choose to save or delete the message as well. You can contact us at 1.800.888.1300 to set things up, or follow the steps below for My Account setup.

Who: MN, ND and SD phone customers

  1. Log into the email address you used to sign up for eVOICE.
  2. Locate and open any email message from voicemail@midco.net.
  3. Double-click the message’s audio attachment to listen to the voicemail.
    • The audio file is in a Windows media format. If you cannot listen to the attached message, you may need to download a newer version of Microsoft Windows media player. A link to the Microsoft site is available in your eVOICE email message.
    • Make sure the volume on your computer or device is turned up so you can hear the voicemail.
    • Use your audio playback application to fast forward or rewind the voicemail message as needed.

Who: MN, ND and SD phone customers

You can save or delete voicemails using your phone menu options, or you can do so within the email you receive.

  • To save a voice message, click Save Message.
  • To remove a voice message, click Delete Message.

After a few moments, you’ll receive a confirmation message that your voicemail was either saved or deleted successfully.

  1. Log in to Midco.com/MyAccount.
  2. Click Home Phone and then Manage Phone Features.
  3. Select your phone number in the dropdown. Please note that it make take up to 20 seconds to connect to your phone features.
  4. Go to the eVOICE section to see the status of this feature on your account. Click Enable to add an email address for the first time, or Edit to change your email address.
  5. Enter your email address, and click Save
  1. Log in to Midco.com/MyAccount.
  2. Click Home Phone and then Manage Phone Features.
  3. Select your phone number in the dropdown. Please note that it make take up to 20 seconds to connect to your phone features.
  4. Go to the eVOICE section to see the status of this feature on your account. Click Disable and then Save.
