Midco Wireless Home Internet relies on fixed wireless technology to bring high-speed – and high-quality – internet to places that previously weren’t able to connect.
With wireless home internet, we connect you to our fiber network through signals and antennas. Unlike satellite internet, your antenna isn’t pointed at the sky. Fixed wireless technology uses point-to-multipoint signals, meaning your antenna points at equipment on top of a nearby water tower, elevator or other tall structure that is connected to our reliable fiber network.
This enables us to bring reliable internet to customers in locations that we’re unable to reach with fiber or cable. And with extenders, it enables you to connect more than one building on your property to high-speed internet.
Yes. Someone authorized on your account will need to be present during the entire installation process. Standard installations take approximately four hours.
No. Midco Wireless Home Internet doesn’t use phone lines for the connection. You can, however, add Midco Home Phone separately. (Phone availability varies by area.)
No. We don’t do residential site surveys. We come onsite with the intent to fully install your internet services. However, if we’re unable to get a proper signal to your location, there are no costs or obligations to you.
The size of your antenna will depend on how strong of a signal we can get at your residence. Our smallest antennas are 6 in. by 6 in., and the largest is approximately 12 in. by 18 in.

1 Service coverage requires connectivity to a Midco fixed wireless tower. A professional Midco technician will visit your home to locate the best signal with the intention of performing a full install. However, if we are unable to get a proper signal to your location, there will be no cost or obligation to you.
Internet speed claims represent maximum speed capabilities. Actual internet speeds may vary depending on your computer or mobile device’s capability and the number of devices accessing the internet at once. Additional factors include the use of third-party equipment, wireless networking technology, distance to the Midco fixed wireless tower, and the surrounding landscape.
A wireless router is required to take advantage of wireless capabilities. Customer is responsible for router purchase or lease. Visit Midco.com/FWEquipment. Leased equipment must be returned when service ends, or the customer is no longer using the equipment.
2 Limit of two extenders per account and each extender is $20/month (max total charge of $40/month).
