Midco is enhancing its long-standing strategic partnership with Augustana University by investing $1.35 million over six years. The leadership gift will create the Midco Media Campus and Midco Production Center on Augie’s campus, as well as enlarge Midco’s athletic sponsorship.

The Midco Media Campus will provide audio, video and music training, and programming through the Avid Learning Partner (ALP) program, as well as facilitate the development of a recently approved Multimedia Entrepreneurship Major. The Midco Media Campus will not only provide opportunities for Augustana students, it will serve as a training hub for K-12 students and aspiring professionals – either in person or virtually – throughout the region.
The Midco Production Center will offer state-of-the-art equipment and a centralized production control room that will improve the efficiency and quality of broadcasts from athletics to the arts, and transform experiential learning opportunities for students as they encounter new technology, platforms and emerging ideas.
The portion of the gift dedicated to Augustana athletics renews, increases and extends Midco’s long-standing sponsorship of the program, elevating the awareness of both brands throughout the Midwest.
