Midco Foundation Strengthens Communities with $108,000 in Grants

Sioux Falls, SD - March 12, 2024 –: As part of its mission to be a force for good in the communities Midco serves, the Midco Foundation has awarded $108,000 in grants to 72 outstanding nonprofit organizations, schools and government entities across the Midwest. 
 
“These grants reflect the Midco Foundation’s ongoing commitment to support the causes and initiatives that matter to the communities where Midco operates,” said Wynne Haakenstad, Executive Director of the Midco Foundation. “The programs supported by these grants cover a variety of areas that are essential for our communities, such as fighting hunger, promoting arts, music and technology education, strengthening schools and offering important services for families.” 
 
The Midco Foundation, established in 1987, has contributed more than $5.75 million to causes with the goal to improve quality of life and foster development in the communities Midco serves. 
 
Nonprofit organizations can apply for grants from the Midco Foundation to support their projects, programs, facilities and equipment. The Midco Foundation Board evaluates and awards funding requests twice a year. To apply for a grant, please review the eligibility criteria, requirements and application form at midco.com/foundation. The deadline for the spring 2024 grant cycle is March 24.
