Fargo Becomes Midco's First "Gig City"

March 29, 2017 – Fargo, ND: Devoted to providing innovative services to the Northern Plains, Midco® has named Fargo its first “Gig City.” This means Midco is delivering service 35 times faster than the average high-speed internet to its entire Fargo service area.
“This is a monumental day in Midco’s history,” said Midco President and CEO Pat McAdaragh. “Due to our state-of-the-art network, we’re launching Midco Xstream® Gig to 16 communities in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area.”
For residential customers, Midco Xstream Gig will provide a large amount of bandwidth to a home network - allowing multiple users to surf, stream, download and game at the same time. For business customers, Midco® Business Xstream Gig will deliver the internet capacity needed to support employee productivity and serve customers.
