Midco Sports™ Partners with Comcast to Expand Reach to Twin Cities

August 23, 2022 – On the heels of signing a multi-year TV agreement with the University of North Dakota, Midco Sports is partnering with Comcast to expand its reach to the Twin Cities.

The regional sports network has signed an agreement with Comcast to broadcast Midco Sports content on Channel 1270 to Xfinity subscribers in Minneapolis, St. Paul and the surrounding metro area.

"Expanding our reach in the Twin Cities via Comcast enables us to showcase UND athletics and all our awarding-winning original programming. We look forward to connecting with fans that are craving our regional content," said VP of Midco Sports Mark Powell.

“Comcast is committed to delivering content that our customers are passionate about,” said Rachel Johnson, vice president, Sales & Marketing, Comcast Twin Cities. “The partnership with Midco Sports allows Comcast to deliver live coverage for fans and alumni of South Dakota State University, University of North Dakota and University of South Dakota who call the Twin Cities home.”

Midco Sports has more than 250 live events scheduled, with the first broadcast of the new season slated for August 25. The entire live schedule can be found here.
